THE URBAN OCEAN

​​(La Jolla, CA) ​The new La Jolla Shores art gallery, La Playa Gallery, is pleased to introduce a summer art exhibition entitled, The Urban Ocean, featuring the works of emerging local artists Jeff Yeomans and Katy Helen Kalt. Also highlighted in this event will be the amazing wood carvings of Oregon based, blind woodworker, Mick Yoder. The show will explore an eclectic mix of ocean and beach life portrayed through oil paintings, mosaic-mirrored surf boards and wood carvings.

A grand opening wine and cheese party will greet patrons of this exhibition Friday evening, July 21, 2017 from 5:00 – 8:00 pm. La Playa Gallery is located in the heart of the merchant district of La Jolla Shores. The gallery is open Monday – Friday, 10:00 am – 5:00 pm.
