Matt  Snyder  Biography

​Matt Snyder is an oil painter living and working in San Diego, California. Self-taught, his works are described as a thick and vaporous embodiment of city life. While some scenes seem familiar to other San Diego locals who recognize their environments, other paintings conjure depictions of lost and mystical metropolises. Even though they all have the same feel, each painting has its own vision, a manifestation of dark dreams, sometimes with light fighting to penetrate the dark.
